Jaytrac History

Our journey started in 1995 with our very first export order- a generator engine rebuild in Indonesia. We still remember it as though it were yesterday! Starting in a domestic garage, the following year we made the very exciting move into our first warehouse, a small unit in Northampton, conveniently located opposite the Dana Spicer driveline factory. Since then, we’ve expanded further and we’ve now been based at our 12,000 sq/ft Northampton warehouse for over a decade.

Jaytrac’s history as a heavy duty parts distributor has been an exciting one to say the least. We became a distributor for ITR in 2000 when we started selling undercarriage parts and GET for Caterpillar machines.   Only two years later we developed our range and became a distributor for Interstate McBee, selling engine parts for Cummins and Timken Bearings, which saw the start of our longstanding relationship with both manufactures. We then partnered with IPD engine parts in 2005, specialising in high quality spare parts for the gas and marine sectors. Since then, we have expanded our range considerably, becoming suppliers of parts for Komatsu and Volvo construction equipment.

Thanks to our loyal customers and enviable reputation for quality, service, and value, our story continues. In 2020, Jaytrac celebrated its 25th Birthday Anniversary - as was the fashion at the time, we stayed 2 metres apart and wore face masks! With multiple moves, expansions, and exciting new ventures like becoming a part of the Delta Group, the last 27 years have enabled us to build a formidable presence within the heavy machinery parts sector, with years of experience and lasting relationships behind our success.
